Measuring and Enhancing Enterprise and Employability and Fundraising

On 20-22 June, 2018 the 4th workshop on management of University employability and career services (practical approach)within the framework of HUB4GROWTH project has been organised  in Mongolian University, Ulaanbaatar city, Mongolia.

The seminar was carried out, joint Lithuanian (prof.dr. Vaiva Zuzeviciute, dr. Edita Butrime) –UK (prof.dr. John Gabriel) team shared their experience in the field, provided presentations, also organised active discussions, group work, feedback, presentations for national teams. Active forms of poster production, presenting, peer-evaluation were employed for the task. Thang Long University (Viet Nam) has sent Dr Le Thanh Binh, head of  International Relations Department  and two staffs  to attend the training workshop.

DAY 1: June 20

Mongolian University Career day: The Career day is the opportunity for MNUMS and Citi Students to meet
with companies and organizations from the Mongolia and learn about the opportunities that are available.
Attendees can meet with recruiters, learn about graduate programs, pick up applications and brochures and
distribute their resumes.

DAY 2: June 21
Short introduction into the status qua of the project: the Coordinating team, The University of Danang,Vietnam
Lithuania ( Edita Butrime (the case of Medical University)
Greece (prof.dr. Yiouli Papadiamantaki)
UK (prof.dr. John Gabriel and prof.dr. Alex Krouglov)
How do services for students (coaching; counselling; career guidance) work in Asia? What works well? What areas could be developed?
Discussion and contributions from Asian partners
• Identifying areas for development
• Conclusions for the day

DAY 3: June 22
Conclusions from the first day and objectives for the second day: linking Employability
Service Operations Competencies, Communication marketing models and the Employer Engagement and
Enterprise needs assessment
Presentation of Asian partners: perspectives, approaches and experiences: What is the link between the Centres and the services (coaching; counselling; career guidance Employability Service Operations Competencies, Communication marketing models and the Employer Engagement and Enterprise needs assessment)?

The conclusions for the seminar were- the most urgent activities/tasks to be performed in order to make the Centre at respective universities in Vietnam, Mongolia, Nepal and Cambodia to function better for the benefit of students’ counselling and employability
